Our Services

Our Guides aim to offer expertise across our services, which we tailor to each students' unique needs and goals. We will work with you for as few as 2-3 hours on a basic, organized search, or for as many hours as you need for support with Common App and other forms, essay planning, editing, and revision, short answer response, scholarship search, and hands-on guidance for time management, belonging, and success during your first year.

We work with prospective undergraduates from all backgrounds, are a 100% LGBTQIA supportive staff, and have ample experience navigating the disability and ADA landscape.

Basic College Search

What's the difference between an R1 and Liberal Arts College? Which schools have the best affinity organizations? You've got questions, and we're ready to support you in this research intensive process.

Common App Support

Admittedly the Common App is user-friendly, but we're still on hand to help you collect the information you need, and feel confident in your application.

Workshops and Webinars

Each month we host a webinar where we talk with college administrators, faculty, staff, and students about topics ranging from diversity and inclusion, belonging and success, what admissions counselors are looking for, working on campus, and so much more.

Essay Writing Support

Believe it or not, our Guides love a college essay. This is the piece of your application that sets you apart from the rest of the pack. We will help you plan and organize your essay or essays, and offer as much editing and revision support as you need for a finished product that is bound to inspire your schools' admissions team.

Family Support

At Consilium, we understand that all families look a little different, and that many family members need support to understand the college search, admissions, and matriculation processes. Our Guides happily design and host webinars for family and other support members to help them understand how best to be present for their scholar.

First Semester Support

As you begin your college journey, it will take time to find a support system on campus. During this time, we stay in contact and remain available to meet and help with time management, finding clubs or organizations, assignment support, and relationship building.

At Consilium, we recognize that the journey doesn't end with your acceptance letters.
